Subject: Application for condonation of shortage of attendance

Respected Sir/Madam,

I respectfully submit that I am a student of Class ____ , Section ____ , of your


esteemed Kendriya Vidyalaya. I could not maintain the required attendance
during the current academic session due to unavoidable circumstances.

During this period, I was suffering from frequent illness and weakness, due to
which I was advised proper rest. Additionally, there were family
responsibilities at home due to the illness of a family member, and I had to
visit my native place because of a family emergency. Owing to these genuine
reasons, I remained absent for several days, which resulted in shortage of
attendance.

I sincerely request you to kindly condone the shortage of my attendance and


permit me to appear in the forthcoming Session Ending Examination (2026). I
assure you that I will be regular in attendance and follow all the rules and
instructions of the Vidyalaya in future.

I shall be highly grateful to you for your kind consideration.
