4. Brief Outline:

The AI Recruitment & Hiring Platform is an intelligent system designed to transform the
traditional hiring process by integrating advanced artificial intelligence and automation. It
simplifies recruitment for both companies and job seekers by automatically screening resumes,
ranking candidates, scheduling interviews, and recommending jobs that best match candidate
skills and experience. The platform ensures a smooth, unbiased, and data-driven hiring journey
where technology enhances decision-making and saves valuable time.

It features two main modules: the Candidate Module and the Organization Module.
The Candidate Module includes AI-powered resume parsing, skill assessments, mock interviews,
and personalized job recommendations. The Organization Module enables job posting, AI-
based candidate screening, automated shortlisting, and analytics dashboards for insights and
performance tracking. Together, these modules create a complete recruitment ecosystem that
makes hiring smarter, fairer, and more efficient for everyone involved.
5. Objectives:

● To automate and streamline the recruitment process using Artificial Intelligence.

● To reduce recruiter workload by automatically parsing resumes and ranking applicants
according to job fit.
● To provide candidates with AI-driven feedback, simulated interviews, and skill analysis to help
them improve.
● To make the candidate evaluation process fair and transparent through explainable AI- based
scoring.
● To unify job posting, screening, shortlisting, and analytics into a single integrated platform.
● To enhance the accuracy and speed of talent matching between employers and job seekers.

6. Scope:

The system will serve both organizations and candidates through dedicated modules. It
includes AI-based resume parsing, intelligent interview simulations, candidate ranking, and
personalized job recommendations. The platform supports LinkedIn and GitHub integration for
importing profiles and generating project-based portfolios.

Performance analytics will cover both technical and non-technical assessments, providing
insights to recruiters and personalized improvement feedback to candidates. Job scraping from
sources such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor increases visibility and opportunities. Optional
features include interview scheduling and real-time communication tools for enhanced
engagement and coordination.
7. Proposed Methodology:

Requirement Analysis:
Identify the needs of organizations and candidates through market research and user
interviews.

System Design:

● Design separate modules for Candidate and Organization interfaces.

● Define AI workflows for resume parsing, candidate scoring, and job recommendations.

Data Collection:

● Gather sample resumes, job descriptions, and skill-based datasets to fine-tune, validate, and test
the performance of pre-trained AI models.

AI Model Development:

● Resume Parser NLP-based information extraction.

● Candidate Scoring Model evaluates applicants using skill, experience, and interview data.
● Recommendation Engine combines content-based and collaborative filtering for job
suggestions.

Integration:

● Implement APIs for LinkedIn, GitHub, and major job boards.

● Include calendar APIs for scheduling interviews and follow-ups.

Testing & Validation:

● Test system with sample users (candidates + recruiters).

● Evaluate performance, accuracy, and bias in AI outputs.

Deployment & Maintenance:

● Host the platform on a cloud server.

● Continuously update AI models using new hiring data to improve accuracy and
adaptability.
8. Resources Involved:

Technical Resources:
● Development Tools: VS Code, Google Collab, GitHub, Git Bash
● Cloud Hosting: AWS / Google Cloud / Vercel
● APIs: LinkedIn, Google Calendar, Hugging face
● Database: PostgreSQL
● Backend Framework: NestJS, Python (FastAPI )
● Frontend Framework: [Link]

Libraries & Frameworks:

● Backend: NestJS ([Link]), FastAPI (Python)

● Frontend: [Link] with Tailwind CSS / Bootstrap
● AI & NLP: Hugging Face models / libraries
● Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python

9. Final Outcomes/ Deliverables:

● A fully functional AI-powered recruitment platform connecting organizations and applicants.

● Automated resume parsing and candidate ranking system using NLP and pre-trained AI models.
● AI-driven interview module for pre-screening and mock interviews.
● Job recommendation engine based on candidates’ skills, experience, and profile data.
● Comprehensive analytics dashboard for tracking performance and application insights
● Detailed applicant analysis including skill assessments, interview scores, and ranking.
● Complete system documentation and user guide, explaining the design, usage, and architecture of the
platform.

10. Learning Outcomes:

● Gaining understanding of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) can
automate and enhance recruitment processes.
● Acquiring hands-on experience in end-to-end system development, including frontend, backend,
and AI service integration.
● Implementing and optimizing algorithms for resume parsing and candidate ranking using real- world
data.
Integrating pre-trained machine learning models for intelligent job candidate matching.
● Designing user-centered interfaces and experiences for dual roles recruiters and candidates.
● Understanding ethical considerations in AI-driven hiring, such as fairness, transparency, and
accountability.
● Developing data-driven dashboards that provide actionable insights for Human Resource (HR) decision-
making.
