This principle has been my guiding light throughout my educational and professional journey. After
completing my undergraduate studies in science, I knew that technology was the field where I
wanted to make my mark. My interest in technology grew day by day and I knew that I had to take
the next step to fully realize my potential. This led me to pursue a career in the field of electronics
and telecommunications engineering. I was fascinated by the ways in which technology can be used
to improve people's lives and I wanted to be a part of that.
During my undergraduate studies in electronics and telecommunications engineering, I was first
introduced to programming in the subject of structured programming approach. The experience
sparked an interest and passion for software development. As I continued to explore programming
and software development, I also found myself becoming increasingly involved in extracurricular
activities. These activities not only helped me overcome my stage fright but also enabled me to excel
in paper presentation competitions. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also
helped me develop my public speaking and communication abilities. I believe that strong
communication skills are essential for a technical candidate and it has become an important aspect
of my professional development.
As I progressed through my undergraduate studies and gained exposure to the real-world industry, I
came to fully appreciate the significance of programming in the constantly evolving technology
landscape. I made a concerted effort to hone my programming skills and as a result, I was able to
secure a position as a SDET -Java in a software MNC. My interest in the Java programming language
played a significant role in my career decision to specialize in this domain. I immersed myself in
learning the intricacies of the language and familiarized myself with the latest industry standards and
best practices. Through hands-on experience and practical application, I developed understanding of
Java and its capabilities. I believe that my passion for programming and software development,
coupled with my specialized knowledge in the Java domain, makes me a valuable asset to any
organization. I am committed to continuing my professional development and remaining at the
forefront of the constantly evolving technology landscape."
During my tenure at the software MNC, I had the opportunity to work with an e-commerce client
who had a global reach, selling their products to almost half of the world. As a SDET, I was primarily
involved in software development, testing and quality assurance. However, my natural curiosity led
me to explore beyond my specific role and understand the importance of data and its impact on the
business operations. Through interactions with various stakeholders at the client-side and within my
company, I gained an appreciation for the value of data analytics and data science. I realized that
understanding data patterns and trends can help organizations make better business decisions,
improve their products, and gain a competitive edge. This sparked my interest in data analytics and
data science and I began to explore this field further. I started learning Python, which is a widely used
programming language in data science and analytics.
As I gained a deeper understanding of the importance and impact of data, I made the decision to
pursue a career in data science. I believe that my background in software development and testing,
combined with my growing knowledge and skills in data analytics and data science, will enable me to
make meaningful contributions to any organization. With this goal in mind, I am eager to continue to
develop my skills and knowledge in data science, and make a positive impact on the organizations I
