Learning Objectives:
By the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
· Identify the functions of right-clicking on a computer mouse.
· Use right-click to access basic commands (copy, paste, delete, rename, properties).
· Understand the evolution of computers (from early generations to modern computers).
· Recognize key features and improvements in computer history.
Prerequisite:
· Basic understanding of using a computer (keyboard, mouse).
· Familiarity with desktop and icons.

Warm-Up Questions
ASK STUDENTS: What happens when you click once on something with the mouse?
ASK: Do you know what happens if you click with the other button (right button)?
SAY: Today we will discover the magic of right-click and also learn how computers have changed over time.

Part A: Right Click Functions
● Teacher demonstrates right-clicking on the desktop.
● Show the menu options: New, Rename, Delete, Properties.
● Demonstrate right-click on a file (copy, paste, delete).
Part B: Computer Evolution
● Show pictures of old computers vs. modern laptops/phones.
● Explain:
First Generation: Large, slow, used vacuum tubes.
Second Generation: Smaller, faster, used transistors.
Third Generation: Integrated circuits.

Class Practice:
· Students right-click on a desktop to create a new folder.
· Rename the folder using right-click
· Independent Practice:

· Delete the copied folder using right-click.
Hands on:
Teachers are asked to show students:
· Teacher shows timeline images.
· Students arrange printed computer pictures in order (oldest newest).

· Pair strong and weak students for practice.
· Offer extra time for practice on the mouse.
