ii) Relative frequency histogram
iii) Class boundaries
iv) Class marks
Question 2
The following table shows the percentage distribution of total income for males in a
certain company:
Income (Pula) Males (%)
Under 1000 17.2
1000-1999 11.7

5000-5999 11.9
6000-9999 12.7
10000 and over 3.6

ii) Draw a frequency polygon on the histogram obtained in i)
iii) What percentage of males earned P4000 and over and what percentage earned
under P3000?
iv) Draw a less than ogive, and show what percentage of males earn less than P3,500
Question 3
The inner diameters of washers produced by a company can be measured to the nearest
hundredth of a millimeter. If the class marks of the frequency distribution of these
diameters are given (in millimeters) by 3.21, 3.24, 3.27, 3.30, 3.33 and 3.36, find
a) the class interval size,
b) the class boundaries,
c) the class limits.
Question 4

households.
iv) Using a multiple bar chart, how many households have both toilet and a radio?
