There is a man named Thomas Anderson

He lived a normal life


By day, he works as an office worker.
At night, he is a computer hacker called "Neo.
"He feels like there is something is wrong with the world,
but he don’t know why.

One day, a woman named Trinity contacts him.


She tells Neo that the world he lives in is not real.
And that he needs to wake up from it
Soon after, Neo meets a man named Morpheus.

Morpheus gives Neo a choice.


Take a blue pill and go back to his normal life,
forgetting everything.
Or take a red pill and learn the truth.

Neo takes the red pill.

Neo wakes up and learns something shocking.


The world he lived is a computer-made dream called the Matrix.
Machines control humans.
People are kept asleep so machines can use their energy.

Neo is now free in the real world.


Morpheus believes Neo is “The One”,
a person who can save humanity.

Neo trains to fight inside the Matrix.


He learns that the rules of the Matrix can be broken.

He can jump higher, move faster, and fight better


because the Matrix is not real.

But there are enemies called Agents.


They protect the Matrix and try to kill anyone who escapes.

During a mission, Morpheus is captured.


Neo is afraid, but he decides to save him.
Trinity helps Neo fight the Agents.
In the final battle, Neo begins to believe in himself.
He understands that the Matrix cannot control him.
He becomes stronger than the Agents
and defeats them.

Neo now knows his purpose.


He will help free other people
and fight the machines.

The movie ends with hope


that humans can take back their world.
