Reflection Notes (1 Page)

As a Master Teacher II, I have become more intentional in recognizing and using my professional
strengths to sustain a positive and dignified culture of teaching in our school. One of my foremost
strengths is my ability to model professionalism through consistent punctuality, preparedness, and
respectful communication. These daily habits reinforce the importance of integrity and set an
example for both learners and colleagues.

I also acknowledge my strength in mentoring and providing instructional support. Through coaching
sessions, post-observation conferences, and LAC facilitation, I help fellow teachers identify their
capabilities and use them to improve practice. Highlighting their strengths builds confidence and
fosters a culture of mutual respect and support within the workplace.

Another strength I apply is cultivating collaborative relationships. I actively listen, encourage

dialogue, and help address classroom or instructional concerns. This creates an atmosphere where
teachers feel valued, respected, and motivated to contribute to school initiatives. I believe that when
teachers experience support, they are more likely to uphold the teaching profession’s dignity.

Lastly, I use my strength in reflective practice to continuously adjust my actions and decisions. By
reflecting on my interactions, leadership behaviors, and professional engagements, I ensure that my
conduct remains aligned with ethical standards and DepEd’s vision of a positive learning community.

Moving forward, I commit to continuously improving and maximizing these strengths to help sustain a
culture that honors professionalism and strengthens the teaching-learning environment.

ADDITIONAL BRIEF JOURNAL ENTRIES

(RPMS-ready; each 3–5 sentences)

Journal Entry 1: Strength in Mentoring

Today, I used my mentoring skills during a post-observation conference with a beginning teacher. I
focused on affirming her strengths in lesson delivery before addressing areas for enhancement. This
approach helped her feel valued and more confident. I realized that positive reinforcement is a
powerful tool to uphold the dignity of teachers.

Journal Entry 2: Strength in Communication

I facilitated a short learning discussion among grade-level teachers regarding classroom routines. My
strength in clear and respectful communication allowed everyone to share insights comfortably. This
created a safe space for collaboration and reinforced the respectful culture we strive to maintain in
our school.

Journal Entry 3: Strength in Professional Modeling

During morning routines, I ensured I was present early and fully prepared for my tasks. Several
teachers mentioned that they appreciated seeing consistent professionalism. This reminded me that
modeling small acts of discipline can greatly influence the culture we build within the teaching
community.

Journal Entry 4: Strength in Reflective Practice

I spent time reflecting on a challenging conversation with a parent. My ability to self-assess helped
me identify what I handled well and what I can improve next time. By continuously refining my
approach, I ensure that my actions reflect professionalism and empathy—qualities essential to a
dignified teaching profession.
