MOTIVATION: Mix and Match Game


The teacher will distribute a set of cards with numbers written in symbols and
another set of cards with their equivalent numbers in words.

Direction: the students will find their match in the card. The first pair to find a match
win.

ACTIVITY 1: CASH DEPOSIT

Miss Cruz deposited some money in the bank. She wrote the following in the deposit
slip.
How much money did Miss Cruz deposit in the bank?
-4 575 pesos teacher.
How will you write 4, 575 in words?
-Four thousand, five hundred seventy-five, teacher.

 In reading numbers, start reading from left to right. For example: 2, 121. It is
read by two thousand, one hundred twenty-one. We started from left which
