Narrator’s Script – Shadows in the Apartment

Opening

(Lights dim. Narrator’s voice from offstage or spotlight.)


Narrator:
On a stormy night, inside an old apartment building, secrets fester like shadows on the walls. A brother searches
for truth, a sister pleads for peace… and tonight, one gunshot will change everything.

Scene 1 – Living Room

(Aarav paces. Meera watches nervously.)


Narrator:
In the silence of midnight, Aarav is restless. He is convinced their father did not die by his own hand. His sister
Meera fears what this obsession will cost him. But before answers can be found—fate answers first.
(Gunshot SFX. Lights flicker. They rush upstairs.)

Scene 2 – The Discovery

(Body revealed. Kabir with gun. Raj enters.)


Narrator:
A dead man on the floor. A trembling tenant with a gun. A furious landlord at the door. Suspicion rises like
smoke in the room, and already, the air tastes of violence.
(Scuffle between Aarav and Kabir. Meera separates them.)

Scene 3 – Secrets Unveiled

(Fight between Raj and Kabir, gun slides.)


Narrator:
The past comes clawing into the present. Kabir whispers of blackmail, debts, and betrayal. Raj denies, but rage
betrays him. Old grudges erupt into blows, and the weapon—the silent judge—slides across the floor, waiting to
choose its master.

Scene 4 – The Inspector Arrives

(Inspector storms in.)


Narrator:
Order crashes into chaos. Inspector Rana takes control, his eyes sharp as steel. He sees what others hide—fear,
guilt, and motive. Each of them has a reason to kill. Each of them has blood in their shadow.
(Interrogation unfolds with character lines. Raj finally cracks, half-confessing.)
Narrator:
At last, the mask slips. Raj’s secrets spill out, words soaked in desperation. Aarav lunges for justice, but the law
pulls him back. Tension coils tighter, ready to snap.

Scene 5 – The Climax

(Fight for gun. Gunshot SFX. Silence.)


Narrator:
And then… the sound that decides everything. A gunshot slices the air. For a heartbeat, time stops. Who has
fallen? Who has fired?
(Pause. Raj staggers, falls. Meera trembles. Aarav frozen. Inspector holds gun.)
Narrator:
Raj lies bleeding. Meera trembles with shock. Aarav is left staring into the abyss he has chased all night. The
truth has been revealed, but at a cost no one can bear.
Closing

(Lights fade. Rain SFX continues faintly.)


Narrator:
In the apartment, the storm outside rages on. But inside, another storm has ended. One man dead, one family
broken, and the truth… at last uncovered.
(BLACKOUT.)
