The Best School Event

The field day was the best school event ever for me.
It was held on May 25th. There were activities such as the sack race, tug-of-war, and relay race.
I took part in the relay race. I practiced running for two weeks. My team wore blue and white
striped shirts. We stood on the track, running and passing the baton. The school was filled with
cheers. We came in first place.
It was the most exciting school event of the year. And I can’t wait for next year’s field day.

instruments.

We came in third place.
It was the most exciting school event of the year. And I can’t wait for next year’s talent show.

During Chuseok, people enjoy delicious foods like rice cakes, ribs, and fresh fruits. People also
play fun traditional games. It’s really cool!

But there are three differences between the two sports.
One difference is the size of the playing area. A soccer field is much larger than a basketball court.
Another difference is the way of playing. Basketball players use their hands. Soccer players use
their feet, legs, torsos, and heads.
The third difference is the number of players. A soccer team has eleven players on each team. A
basketball team has five players on each team.
So, which sport do you prefer, soccer or basketball?

Amazing Octopuses

Octopuses are amazing animals that live in the deep sea. They’re super clever because they have
special ways to escape from predators. These predators are sharks, dolphins, and eels.
If a shark comes too close, an octopus can use its ink to distract it. And if a dolphin tries to bite
an octopus’s leg, the octopus can break one off. The leg still moves around, which confuses the
dolphin. This gives the octopus a chance to escape. But what happens to the lost leg? Don’t worry.
It will grow back.
Octopuses are really cool animals. They have their ways to get away from predators.

Anole lizards are amazing animals that live in the Americas. They’re super clever because they
have special ways to escape from predators. These predators are snakes, owls, and raccoons.
If an owl comes too close, an anole lizard can change its color to distract it. And if a snake tries
to bite an anole lizard’s leg, the lizard can break one off. The leg still moves around, which confuses
the snake. This gives the anole lizard a chance to escape. But what happens to the lost leg? Don’t
worry. It will grow back.
Anole lizards are really cool animals. They have their ways to get away from predators.

If I could visit any country in the world, I would choose Switzerland.

Switzerland is located in Central Europe. Its capital city is Bern. There are four seasons in
Switzerland. The weather changes with the seasons. The temperatures can range from around -2
to 30 degrees Celsius.
Switzerland is famous for its beautiful mountains in the Alps. The country is also popular for its
delicious food, such as fondue and raclette.
I really hope to go to Switzerland and have a good time there.
