1. What is Electricity?

• Electricity is the flow of electric charge.

• It moves through conductors like copper wires.

• Measured in volts (V), amperes (A), and watts (W).

2. Basic Electrical Terms

• Voltage (V): Electrical pressure that pushes current.

• Current (A): Flow of electricity.

• Resistance (Ohm): Opposition to current flow.

• Power (Watt): Voltage × Current.

3. Types of Current

• AC (Alternating Current): Used in homes and industries.

• DC (Direct Current): Used in batteries and electronics.

4. Common Electrical Components

• Switch – Controls ON/OFF

• Fuse – Protects from overload

• MCB – Automatic protection switch

• Bulb/Load – Uses electricity

• Wire – Carries current
