PHARTAIL_File_based_Configuration

In addition to the Configuration parameters, PHARTAIL also supports different behaviour


of the Application as per the presence of control files in the Installed folder. The names of
such files and its significance is given below.

If this file is present and the countersales prescription contains schedule H1

item, then scanning of the prescription is made compulsory by PHARTAIL.

Presence of this file makes the Doctor selection from pop-up compulsory on

counter sales and disallows the doctor name manual input

PHARTAIL sets the regional setting of your computer to MM/DD/YYYY on the


3 [Link] start-up. If this file is present, the original setting is restored when you exit the
program

PHARTAIL shows the slogan 'Everything else is a compromise...'. This slogan


4 [Link] may disturb the profile picture that you may set as per your choice. Presence of
this file shall hide the slogan.

PHARTAIL does not recommend having two or more items with the same name.
5 [Link] But, if at all it is required by you, put this file in place and then PHARTAIL shall
allow you to create items with exactly same name any number of times

If this file is present, after countersales bill is complete, the Bill Number and its

amount shall be shown in Large font on the screen and shall stay for 3 seconds.

If this file is present, during countersales, after you select the item and batch se-
7 [Link]
lection list is presented, this list will not show the purchase rate details.

If this file is present, it will not allow for any discount to be given from counter-

sales. The option not applicable if the user is a Superuser.

If this file is present, during countersales, when you input the quantity sold, you
9 [Link] can record the item for Purchase Order with the help of a button. If the file is not
present, the button is not visible.

10 [Link] If this file is present, during Sales Return, the free quantity input is not allowed.

If this file is present, the user log-in which is blocked is not allowed to be cleared
11 [Link] from the PHARTAIL log-in screen. You need to run the SOFTUTIL and then
clear the user.

If this file is present, the counter sale billing is done at Wholesale rate (instead of
13 [Link] MRP). This is used for some trusts which operate the medical stores on no-profit
basis.

If this file is present, PHARTAIL is activated to use the e-Milan functionality. This
14 [Link] is a project from AIOCDA-AWACS which provides information exchange
between Wholesale-Retail.

If this file is present, the schedule H1 reports are printed on single line basis
15 [Link] which then finishes the report in less number of pages. Supported only for Sales
option.
