1. Favourite community helper

My favourite community helper is Mr. Nam. He is a friendly delivery person in
my neighbourhood. Whenever he delivers something to us, he smiles happily. He
also sometimes asks me about my studies. In addition, he is hard-working and
responsible. He delivers goods to many families in my neighbourhood despite the
weather. Sometimes, he has to return twice to deliver us a pảcel because we are
not at home. I really appreciate his manner. In general, Mr. Nam is a very
dedicated community helper who makes our lives easy and comfortable.

2. City life
I love city life. First, it is convenient to live in the city. There are many
public transport systems in almost all areas of the city, so we can easily get
around. Additionally, the city provides many good things and facilities. Many
shops sell all kinds of goods, so I can buy everything I need. Finally, city life is
exciting and bustling. There are more and more entertainment places in cities
such as shopping malls, park cinemas or playgrounds,... In conclusion, I find city
liveable for stay.

3. How to manage time effectively

There are many things we should do to manage our time effectively. Firstly,
we should make a plan or schedule for things we need to do, including
appointments, projects, homework and tests. It helps us remember what we need
to accomplish and when we should do it. Secondly, giving priority to the most
important task is also important. We need to decide which is the most urgent and
important task so that we can concentrate on it first. Finally, building an effective
daily routine. We should do exercise regularly, get enough sleep, have a well –
balanced diet,.... The more you follow a daily routine, the less you will worry or get
stressed.

4. School days in the past.

In the past, students had lessons in the morning only. In the afternoon,
they stayed home and did other things to help their parents. At school, they
learned subjects such as Maths, language, history, physics, etc. but they did not
have music and arts or computer sciences. They did not have extra lessons. In
their free time, they played traditional games such as hide-and-seek, tug of war,
skipping, and so on. Every day they went to school on foot. My grandmother told
me that they walked barefoot all the time, as they did not have shoes or sandals.
They were lucky in that they had a long summer holiday – about three months!
5. The most pleasant experiences at school
I had very pleasant experiences at my school. The first lovely experience I
had was when I did community service last year. I joined the school English club
and tutored some primary school students for a semester. Their English became
better, and they were much more confident in English lessons. The second
memorable experience I had was going on a camping trip with my classmates. We
went to a village about 20 km from our school. Here, we put up tents, decorated it
and we also won the competition of tent decoration. We sang and danced and
took a lot of photos. I also remember winning the first prize in the school chess
competition that year. The school then presented me with a chess set. All these
pleasant experiences will go with me forever.

6. Traditional dish in Vietnam

Pho is a traditional dish in Vietnam. It's one of the specialities of
Vietnamese cuisine. Pho consists of rice noodles, sliced beef, and broth stewed
from beef bones and onions. All the ingredients are put in a bowl with onions on
top of the meat. There are a lot of places where you can eat Pho, and the prices
greatly vary. The tastes of all ingredients are in perfect harmony. It has a delicate
flavour and smells so good that I can't resist it whenever I go past it. In short, Pho
is nutritious enough to be a typical breakfast in Vietnam.

7. Natural wonders of Vietnam

Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, located in Quang Binh Province, is one
of Vietnam’s most popular natural wonders. It is renowned for its stunning caves,
including the famous Son Doong Cave, as well as its tropical forests and limestone
karsts. Visitors can explore these incredible caves, trek through the lush forests,
and enjoy river boat tours. To help protect this beautiful park, it is essential to
avoid littering, drawing on cave walls, and always follow the tour guide’s
instructions. By respecting these guidelines, we can help preserve Phong Nha – Ke
Bang National Park for future generations

8. Travel experience
 Last summer, I had a three-day trip to Nha Trang with my family. On the
first day, we rode a cable car to the island where Vinwonder Park was located. We
do several things in the park, such as visiting the aquarium, the zoo, taking
photos, watching shows and fireworks,.. It was a fun and memorable day. On the
second day, I went diving and saw the coral reef and significant biodiversity. We
also had seafood for lunch. And on the last day, we wandered around Nha Trang,
enjoyed and explored specialities and local traditions. I really love Nha Trang and
the trip was also unforgettable.

9. Challenges when learning English

When learning English, I find grammar the most challenging and I have
done several things to improve it. Firstly, I have a good grammar book. I do the
exercises in the book, and whenever I have a grammatical question, I quickly refer
to it. The book makes me more confident in writing and speaking. Secondly, I read
English books. When I read, I come across different grammar rules. This helps me
learn and remember grammar naturally. Last but not least, I learn grammar from
teachers and friends. Sometimes I meet a difficult grammatical point and cannot
understand it even after I consult in my grammar book. In this case, I ask my
friends and teachers for help. These are the three things I have done to improve
my English grammar.

10. Protect plants and animals

Plants and animals are an essential part of Earth’s ecology. Firstly, plants
enhance the beauty of our planet. Secondly, plants and animals provide sources
of food for humans. Finally, they create an ecological balance. To protect them, we
should raise people’s awareness of the importance of preserving habitats, stop
hunting, stop destroying forest habitats, avoid using pesticides, plant more trees,
and build nature reserves for our wildlife.

11. Smart device

My favourite electronic device is a smartphone. Firstly, I use it mainly to
contact friends, family, teachers and relatives, as it is convenient, easy and
efficient. Secondly, smartphones provide a great source of entertainment, with
apps for music, movies, games, and books. Finally, I can get a vast source of
information, contributing to knowledge and awareness. In conclusion, they make
our lives easier and more enjoyable.
