 The Darling children live in London.

 Wendy, John, and Michael’s home is in Kensington Gardens / London (Barrie never mentions exact street, but clearly it’s
London).
 This is where Peter Pan first visits their nursery.

 Peter Pan comes to their house in London.

 He loses his shadow, which Wendy helps sew back on.


 This is the first London part of the story.

 Flying to Neverland:

Suddenly, a shadow moves across the nursery.
A magical boy appears—he is Peter Pan!

Peter Pan (confident):


Hello! I am Peter Pan!
I never grow up, and I live in Neverland.

Wendy (surprised):
A boy who never grows up?
How amazing!

John:
Can you really fly, Peter Pan?

Peter Pan:
Yes! I will show you!

Narrator:
They arrive in the magical island of Neverland, where Peter Pan is the leader of the Lost Boys.

Play, laugh, and have fun!

Tiger Lily (girl):


Hello, visitors!
This is our land, and we protect it together.

Peter Pan:
Neverland is safe and full of fun!
But beware… pirates are near.

Wendy:
Everything here is beautiful!
The flowers, the trees, and the sea!

I am Captain Hook, the most terrible pirate of the seas!

Mr. Smee (shy/confused, behind Hook):
Captain… maybe we should be careful…
The Lost Boys are very clever…

Captain Hook (angrily, pacing back and forth):


Smee! Do not speak!
We will catch Peter Pan today!

Pirate 1 (confident, loud):


Yes, Captain Hook!
We will find him hiding in the forest!

Pirate 2 (confident, stomping):


And we will capture him!

Pirate 3 (shy, pointing quietly):


(Point slowly) …There…!

Narrator (teacher):
Oh no! The pirates are sneaking through the forest of Neverland.
Peter Pan and the Lost Boys must hide!

Peter Pan (confident, standing tall):


Don’t worry, friends!
I have a plan.
Stay behind me and be ready!

Lost Boy 1 (girl):


We will hide behind the rocks!
Lost Boy 2 (girl):
And be very quiet!

Tinker Bell (girl, fluttering wings):


Ting! Ting!
I will sprinkle fairy dust to help Peter Pan fly and trick the pirates

🎬 SCENE 4: RETURN TO LONDON / HAPPY ENDING (~5 minutes)


Narrator:
After many adventures, it is time to go home.
Peter Pan will stay in Neverland, but the Darling children must return to London.

Wendy:
Peter, we love Neverland, but we miss our parents.

John:
Yes… it’s time to go home.

Michael:
I want to see Mama and Papa.
Peter Pan (smiling):
I understand.
You will always have your memories, and I will stay here, protecting Neverland.

🎵 Song 5 – “We Are Happy Children”


(All children on stage, waving to audience)

All Children (loud):


We are happy children!
We laughed, we flew, we played, and we learned!

Narrator:
Peter Pan stays in Neverland.
The children return to London safely and happily,
and everyone remembers the magic of childhood.

🎉 All bow. Curtain closes. 🎉
