How to install window operating system to computer

Preparation

 Check system requirements: Ensure your PC meets Windows 10


minimum requirements (processor, RAM, storage).

 Backup data: Save important files to an external drive or cloud


storage.

 Get installation media: Download the Windows 10 ISO from


Microsoft’s official site and create a bootable USB (≥8GB) using the
Media Creation Tool.

⚙️Installation Steps
1. Insert USB/DVD Plug in the bootable USB or insert the installation
DVD.

2. Restart and enter BIOS/UEFI

o Restart your computer.

o Press the BIOS key (usually F2, F12, DEL, or ESC) during
startup.

o Change the boot order so the USB/DVD is first.

3. Boot from installation media Your PC will load the Windows installer
from the USB/DVD.

4. Choose language and preferences Select your language, time, and

6. Select installation type

o Upgrade: Keeps files and apps (if upgrading from older

o For a clean install, delete old partitions and create a new one.

8. Installation process Windows will copy files, install features, and


restart several times.

9. Setup configuration

o Choose region, keyboard, and network settings.

o Sign in with a Microsoft account or create a local account.

o Set up privacy preferences.

10. Finish setup After configuration, Windows will finalize settings


and boot to the desktop.
