Academic Profile
Lecturer and early-career researcher in Computer Science & Engineering with a focused research
agenda in Computer Vision, Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), and Large Language Models
(LLMs). Developed and evaluated deep learning systems for visual understanding across medical
imaging, agricultural diagnostics, and intelligent sensing applications, involving data from X-
ray, CT, MRI, retinal, microscopic, and thermal modalities.
Research contributions emphasize lightweight and hybrid CNN–Vision Transformer architec-
tures, attention mechanisms, and explainable AI techniques (e.g., Grad-CAM) for robust and
interpretable visual recognition. Complementing vision-centric work, applied transformer-based
LLMs and graph-based representation learning to language understanding tasks, particularly
in low-resource Bangla settings, including text classification, misinformation analysis, and hu-
man–AI text discrimination.
Completed an MSc thesis on the comparative evaluation of CNN-, GNN-, and LLM-based
models for radiographic bone fracture classification. Seeking a PhD position to pursue rigorous
research on advanced vision and vision–language architectures, graph-structured learning, and
interpretable AI systems with real-world impact.
