Weekly attendance

30 Hr. / 2 credits

 Present the fundamental knowledge and computational principles of process


modeling and simulation.
 To learn the computational principles of design, develop, implement, and
analyze, verify, and validate simulation models.
 Explain the role of Modeling and Simulation Process in solving problems of
industrial engineering filed.
 To know how utilize a computational tool to identify the key parameters of a
model, estimate model outcomes, and implement the model.
 To recognize different types of models and to explain how models link the
physical world, the virtual world and the science of prediction.
 Demonstrate basic programming, technical communication skills to create a
comprehensive report and an oral presentation with accurate visual
representations of a model and its results.
