Exercise 002

The document outlines a series of exercises involving the analysis of sales data using MS Excel. It includes creating Pivot Tables to summarize sales by product category and region, identifying top performers, and calculating summary statistics for quantities sold. The analysis concludes that the distribution of quantities ordered is symmetric, making the mean a suitable measure of central tendency.

II. Highlight the category with the highest sales.
[Link] Sales by Region and Salesperson

II. Identify the top-performing region.

Descriptive Statistical Analysis:

[Link] the summary statistics of Quantity sold.
5-COMMENT:
The skewness (0.0026) is almost zero, the distribution of quantities ordered is symmetric. Hence,
Mean is an appropriate measure of central tendency (though the Median would give almost the
same result).
