The Clients Bureau Head welcomed attendants of the meeting and invites the consultant’s Resident
Engineer presents the project current status and the challenges faced. Accordingly, the Resident
Engineer presented the status of the project activity as stipulated bellow.

1 Current Progress and Remaining Time The Resident Engineer reminds the total time given to
the contractor on the amended contract to complete the project work (540 days) and the time elapsed
to end of November 2023 (504 days). And this has been notified by the engineer in its previous
correspondence to alert the contractor.
Both the client and contractor has confirmed the above statement.
The client stated that now its interest is to focus and apply all our efforts starting from today rather than
previous historical issues. CONTRACTOR
2 Progress of Work The Resident Engineer mention the actual progress of work which is
remains at 34.68 % compared to the plan of 75.47 %.
The client raise its concern which is a continual breakdown of machinery is the main reason for the lag
of the project progress and this will not be accepted in future.
The contractor accepts the client view and raise additional cases which hampers progress of work,
Payment delay, Design of structures, price escalation, and draught (lack of water for construction).
