INTRO BLAH BLAH BLAH

Angela: It’s your first day at school, are you
excited?
Ly: Uhm, I don’t really know... I’m kind of
nervous
Khanh: It’s going to be okay! Being nervous is
normal on your first day of school.
Ly: Okay...
CHANGE SCENE
Lam: Hey! Are you new to the school?
Ly: Yeah, I am...
Quanh: Your name is Ly, right?
Ly: Yes, it is.
Lam: (guides into school) Great! My name is
Lam and this is Quynh Anh, we’re going to be
your school guides for the day.
Quanh: Don’t worry, you’re in safe hands! If
you have any questions, you can ask us!
Shows Ly around school
Quanh: So, what’s your first class, Ly?
Ly: Uhm... let me see... (looks at piece of
paper), it’s homeroom and then english, I’m
pretty sure.
Lam: Which class are you in?
Ly: I’m in class 8A
Quanh: That’s our class too!
Lam: We’ll take you there!
Ly: Oh! Thank you!
CHANGE SCENE
Cao (teacher): Let’s welcome our new
student, Ly! Plase introduce yourself to the
class.
Ly: Oh, uhm... my name is Ly and I’m an
exchanged student here and it’s nice to meet
you guys.
Cao: Okay, thank you Ly.
Ly: Oh yes, I also made these for you since it’s
my first time meeting you and I would love to
give you a special treat. (gives cookies)
Cao: Thank you! (eats cookies or some type of
snack idk) This is delicious! I’ve never
received snacks here before. Thank you, Ly.
Ly: You’re welcome (walks to seat)
Annika: It’s giving teacher’s pet.
Maria: She just got here and is already getting
compliments?
Annie: Ugh, teachers’ pets are so annoying
Maria: Agreed.
Annika: Like it’s just a snack? What’s so
special?
Annie: Girl, I don’t know
Annika: She’s making me mad.
Maria: Are we going to do anything about it?
Annie: We are. And I have a plan.
LUNCH
Ly: (Walking around the cafeteria trying to find
a place to sit) Where should I sit...
Annika: Hey! Over here! (waves Ly over to
come sit with them)
Ly: Oh, okay. (Walks over, sets tray down and
sits with them.)
Annie: Hi there, you’re Ly, right?
Ly: Yes, that’s me.
Annika: I’m Annika, this is Annie (points to
Annie), and this is Maria (points back to
Maria), it’s super nice to meet you.
Maria: Do you have instagram?
Ly: uhm, yes.
Maria: Oh my gosh, add us!!!
Annika: Yeah! What is it?
Ly: (shows ig) here.
Annie: We followed you!
Narrator: they spent lunch talking and
sôn became friends with each other
HATE COMMENTS
Narrator: Ly had told the three about the
comments on her instagram, how they
had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Soon later, Ly needed to tell someone
else about her feelings so she decided to
tell the person she trusted most in the
school, Maria.
Ly: Hey, Maria!
Maria: (turns) what’s up?
Ly: I need to talk to you about my… situation.
Maria: okay, tell me.
Ly: Promise you’ll hear me out?
Maria: Promise. ( pinky promise)
Narrator: Ly then told Maria everything
about the situation, telling her how the
comments made her feel and how they
were affecting her mentally, and telling
her she didn’t want to go to school at all
because of it.
Narrator: Maria then felt bad, and went
to tell Annika and Annie.
Maria: Guys, I think we need to stop.
Annie: Why all of the sudden?
Annika: It’s not that bad.
Maria: Ly told me the other day how it made
her feel and II feel guilty.
Annie: Dunno why you’re guilty to be honest.
Annka: Yeah, just leave her.
Maria: But-
Annika: She’s not that important.
Maria: (frowns but continues like normal)
Narrator: From that day on, Maria began
distancing herself from the others. She
felt like being mean to Ly was wrong, as
she didn’t really do anything.
Annika: You’re distancing yourself from us.
Annie: What is your problem?
Maria: What we’re doing to Ly is mean, we
have to delete the comments.
Annie: Why? It’s not like you care, do you?
Maria: I do care, it’s affecting her!
Annika: If you care about her, then just leave!
Annie: Yeah, we don’t need you!
Maria: Fine! I will!
Narrator: After that incident, Maria
decided she was going to tell Ly what
was happening and apologies.
Maria: Ly!
Ly: What’s up?
Maria: You know the hate comments on your
instagram?
Ly: Yeah..?
Maria: It was me, Annie, Annika and a few
friends of ours commenting. I’m so sorry.
Ly: But why?
Maria: We saw you the first day and our first
impression on you was that you were a
teacher’s pet. So we decided to bully you and
comment on your posts.
Ly: So you were jealous or something?
Maria: Yes, we were.
Ly: Oh… At least you told me.
Maria: I’m so sorry, I know how it was
affecting you and I felt bad.
Ly: It’s okay, as long as you told the truth.
Maria: Really? You’re not mad?
Ly: I’m even grateful that you told me the
truth.
Maria: Friends?
Ly: (smiles) friends.
Narrator: From that day on, Ly and Maria
started hanging out with a new group of
people. A better one.
Lam: I feel bad for them...
Khanh: Them? Who are you talking about?
Lam: I mean, Ly and Maria.
Quanh: Aren’t they still receiving hate
comments?
Lam: Yeah.
Khanh: We should do something about this.
Quanh: I would love to, but what should we
do?
Khanh: We must tell a teacher about this.
Lam: Teacher Cao?
Khanh: Well, I mean who else is there to be
honest?
Quanh: Let’s do it.
Narrator: So, the three of them told the
teacher, he heard this news and talked
about it to Ly and Maria. They told him
the whole story. The next day, the
teacher asked Annie and Annika to talk
in his office.
Cao: I heard you guys have been posting hate
comments on other classmates’ posts.
Annie: How do you know that?
Cao: Some friends of these two girls told me
about it.
Annika: (under her breath) idiots.
Cao: I heard that. Do you girls know how
much this is affecting your friends’ health?
Annika: Not our friends but whatever.
Cao: Listen here, these comments are
affecting both of Ly’s and Maria’s mental
health. This is cyberbullying and basic
bullying all in one. Do you know how many
cases of self exit there is for bullying these
days?
Annie: Uhm, yeah.
Cao: That could be what will happen to them.
Annika: Oh, we didn’t know...
Cao: Well, you know now.
Annika: Oh no, I feel so bad...
Annie: Me too...
Cao: I heard Maria did tell you guys about how
Ly felt and tried to stop you guys from doing
so but you still did.
Annika: Yes, we did.
Cao: You will both apologies for your actions
and delete all your comments immeadiately.
Annika + Annie: Okay...
SCENE CHANGE
Ly, Maria, Quanh, Khanh and Lam are eating
at the cafteria together.
Annika and Annie walk up to them.
Annika: Uhm, hey.
Ly: Oh, what do you guys want?
Annie: We wanted to apologize to you guys for
being mean.
Ly: (looks at Maria, then back at them) do you
guys really mean it or are you just saying it
for the sake of it?
Annika: No, we... we really mean it.
Annie: Yeah, we deleted all the comments.
Annika: And we’re so sorry, we didn’t realize
how much it would affect you and you were
even new to the school.
Annie: We hope you can forgive us.
SMALL SILENCE
Maria: I think we might need some time but
I’m willing to give you guys another chance.
Ly: me too. (nods agreeing with Maria)
Annika: Thank you so much
Ly: It will be hard to win the trust back but I’m
willing to forgive you.
Annie: Thank you, we will change.
Annika: Yup.
Ly: Come, sit down with us (takes out seat
next to her)
VĂN NGHỆ
Narrator: from then on, they all became
friends again, Annika and Annie changed
for the better. That’s why we should not
judge people before knowing them, and
bullying is never a good thing.

THE END.
