Grindwell Norton Ltd. (GNO) pioneered the manufacturing of grinding wheels in India and has since grown to offer

specialized project engineering, for a range of sectors including automotive, construction, and industrial. In
1990's, GNO became a part of Saint-Gobain, a worldwide leader in light and sustainable construction. This
partnership has enabled GNO to enhance its offerings and expand reach worldwide. The Group currently holds
51.66% of equity in GNO, reinforcing the strong partnership. The company is listed on the Bombay and the National
Stock Exchanges. In 2024, GNO registered sales of Rs.2,789 Crores & growing and currently has over 2,600

A. Abrasives: Our surface finishing solutions transform surfaces through cutting-edge applications delivering superior
performance for every market from highly technical precision engineering to home improvement. Solutions we offer
include bonded abrasives, coated abrasives, thin wheels, super abrasives, non-woven abrasives, construction
products, automotive aftermarket, adhesives & sealants and performance grinding solutions.
B. Performance Polymer Solutions: PPS specializes in developing high-performance products that offer properties
such as temperature, chemical, and wear resistance, contributing to energy efficiency, protection, and sustainability.
The business offers a wide range of products and solutions across several key areas like Engineering Components,
Bearing, Composite system, Tape Solution, Films, Life Sciences, Process Systems.
C. Performance Ceramics & Refractories: PCR delivers advanced high-performance ceramic and refractory solutions,
with expertise in design, engineering and manufacturing refractory systems for high-temperature, ballistic and wear
applications. Solutions we offer include ceramic systems, wear resistance technology, specialty ceramics and more.
D. Adfors: Adfors manufactures fabrics made with a variety of input yarns, including glass, polyester, rayon, aramids
& hybrids, which are combined with advance polymer coating to produce cost - effective reinforcement solutions.
At worldwide, Adfors is very strong in business with a range of products that are not matched by competition. The
product range includes mine grid, insect screen, wall covering & geotextile.
E. Silicon Carbide: The SiC business is a market leader in India, manufacturing silicon carbide crude and grains at
plants in Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) and near Phuentsholing (Bhutan). With a production capacity of 9,600 tons of SiC
crude and 24,000 tons of SiC grains per annum, the company supplies leading manufacturers in industries such as
abrasives, ceramic and steel refractories, crucibles, and metallurgy across India.
F. Project Engineering Group: PEG takes up engineering projects responsibility within Saint-Gobain Group in India &
abroad. PEG manages the projects in different business vertical viz, PEM Services, Machine Building, E&A Projects,
and Environmental projects. PEG employs the state of art technology in all projects adding value to all its engineering
designs keeping customer focus. PEG ensures compliance to QMS, EHS and OHSAS systems.

Job Role Summary: End-to-end ownership of assigned projects for the respective business Unit. The final roles for the
trainee will be decided post the completion and evaluation of the project. The project can be in any of the departments
mentioned across various business units under Grindwell Norton Ltd. and Saint Gobain India.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Sales:
• Assist in lead generation, qualification, and conversion strategies
• Support client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions
• Contribute to CRM updates and pipeline management
• Participate in territory planning and sales forecasting
Marketing:
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns
• Conduct market and consumer research to inform strategy
• Support content creation for digital and offline channels
• Analyze campaign performance using analytics tools
• Collaborate with design, product, and sales teams
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Business Development:
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships

Operations:
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Assist in workflow optimization and resource planning
