PLEDGE

As I join the fraternity of MIT WPU as a student, I, DEEPSHIKHA, hereby pledge to carry out the
following responsibilities and duties in a trustworthy and diligent manner at this prestigious
seat of learning.
A. To establish a high priority with regards to attendance in my scheduled teaching sessions
and to come prepared to learn and discuss the topics at hand to attain academic excellence.
B. To respect freedom of expression and cultural diversity enshrined in the University's ethos
while expressing opinions constructively and respectfully.
C. To build cooperative relationships through constructive dialogue and non-violent
communication, always minding the impact of words.
D. To follow all norms and commitment to becoming a responsible university community
member.
E. To approach the designated authorities/bodies created by the University in case of any
complaints/grievances with the University and seek a proper course of action in case of
dissatisfaction taking universities authorities in confidence.
F. Not to involve or seek the intervention of any external agency or personnel to redress any
grievance/complaint which might have a conflict of interest with the University.
G. Not participating in any procession/assembly or media-driven criticism negatively impacting
University's image or interest.
H. Uphold the norms of Bhartiyatva (or Bharatiyata) and the value of peaceful coexistence
which enrich the foundational ethos of our University and Bharat -our nation.
I. Embrace sustainability and environmentally conscious practices, promoting responsible
stewardship of our planetary resources.
J. Engage in community service projects that contribute to the welfare and progress of our
local and national communities.
K. Inspire others through my exemplary commitment to academic excellence, ethical conduct
and global citizenship, setting an example for my peer group and future generations.
L. Endeavor to promote social harmony, understanding and unity among fellow students from
diverse social and economic backgrounds.
