11. Add: 3456 + 2984 = ?
12. Subtract: 7000 – 3654 = ?

Section B – Short Answer Questions (2 marks each)


13. Find the first 10 multiples of 9 and circle the even ones.
14. Find all the prime factors of 36.
15. Reduce the fraction 18/24 to its simplest form.
16. Add: 3.45 + 2.37 + 4.6
17. Subtract: 15.08 - 9.75

kilograms of rice did he sell in total?
26. A gardener plants trees in rows of 8 and in rows of 12. What is the least number of trees he
should plant so that each row has the same number of trees?
Section D – Higher Order Thinking (4 marks each)
27. Solve step by step: (48 ÷ 6) + (3 × 5) + 12 = ?
28. A car travels 125.6 km on the first day, 98.75 km on the second day, and 156.4 km on the
third day. Find the total distance covered in three days.
29. Convert 3/4, 1/5, and 7/10 into decimals and arrange them in ascending order.
30. A class has 36 boys and 48 girls. They are to be divided into equal groups so that each
group has the same number of boys and girls. What is the greatest number of groups possible?
