NOUN(TOOLS/MEANS)+で+VERB 2

-The third usage of で particle is method or mean used for an action.


For example-
I write with a pen.
ペンで書きます。

Make sentences-
1.I take photo with a camera.
2.I eat with chopsticks.
3.I write report in English.
4.i cut paper with scissors.
5.I cut vegetables with a knife.
6.I buy bag with money.
2.“WORD/SENTENCE”+は+ ~語(GO) +で+何+ですか
This question is used to ask how to say a word or a sentence in other languages.

For example-
What is “school” in Japanese?
“school”は日本語(にほんご) でなんですか。
[Link]にあげます、かします、おしえます
(NOUN+PARTICLE+VERB)
-The person whom you give , lend, teach something is marked by にparticle.
-in Hindiにparticle is equivalent to को / to of English.
For example-
I teach Japanese to students.
がくせいににほんごをおしえます。
学生に日本語を教えます。(kanji)
Make sentences-
1.I gave flowers to mom.
2.I lend a book to a friend.
[Link] gave gift to Ms. Kimura.

*With verbs like おくります・でんわをかけます you can


also use へ particle instead of に.

・ならいます。
ーhere に particle express actions from the receiving side. the person from whom you
receive those actions are marked by に particle.
-in Hindi it is equivalent to से /from of English.
For example-
1.I learn Chinese from Ms. Kimura.
木村さんにちゅうごくごをならいます。

Make examples-
1. Ms. Kimura received flowers from Mr. Yamada.
2. I borrowed a book from my friend.
*から is used instead of に when you receive something from an organization like
school or company.
For example –
I borrowed money from bank. (bank here is an organization)
ぎんこうからおかねをもらいました。
もう+VERB STEM FORM 6

/MASU FORM+ました。
ーもう means already.
Question ー
Have you completed the verb yet?
もうVましたか。
もうたべましたか。
Have you already eaten?

Answer-
はい、もうVました。
はい、もうたべました。

いいえ、まだです。
No I haven’t. (the task is not complete yet.)
