BODMAS Rule

BODMAS Rule

BODMAS stands for:

B - Brackets

O - Orders (powers and roots)

D - Division

M - Multiplication

A - Addition

S - Subtraction

Follow the order: Brackets > Orders > Division/Multiplication (Left to Right) > Addition/Subtraction (Left to

Right)

Example:

Solve: 6 + (2 × 3)^2 ÷ 3

Step 1: (2 × 3) = 6

Step 2: 6^2 = 36

Step 3: 36 ÷ 3 = 12

Step 4: 6 + 12 = 18

Answer = 18
