RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE REPROGRAMMING OF THE REALIZED


SAVINGS FROM THE IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS OF THE 20% BARANGAY
DEVELOPMENT FUND (CONTINUING FUND CY 2023) IN THE AMOUNT OF
ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED SIXTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED
NINETY-SEVEN PESOS AND 20/100 (PHP1,216,497.20)

WHEREAS, the realized savings from the implemented projects of the


20% Barangay Development Fund for CY 2023 was presented to Barangay
Finance Committee amounting to One Million Two Hundred Sixteen Thousand
Four Hundred Ninety-Seven Pesos and 20/100 (Php 1,216,497.20) ;
WHEREAS, the 20% Barangay Development Fund (BDF) for Calendar Year
2023 was appropriated to finance priority programs, projects, and activities of
the barangay as embodied in its approved Annual Investment Program;
WHEREAS, there are programs and projects under the approved 20% BDF
for CY 2023 that were not implemented or were partially implemented due to
unforeseen circumstances and changing priorities of the barangay;
WHEREAS, there is a need to reprogram the unutilized balance of the
20% Barangay Development Fund for CY 2023 in the total amount of One
Million Two Hundred Sixteen Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Seven
Pesos and 20/100 (₱1,216,497.20) to fund other priority development
projects that are more responsive to the present needs of the community;
WHEREAS, the reprogramming of said funds is deemed necessary,
proper, and beneficial to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of basic
services to the constituents of the barangay;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of _________________ BE IT RESOLVED, as
it is hereby RESOLVED, to RECOMMEND THE REPROGRAMMING of the 20%
Barangay Development Fund for Calendar Year 2023 in the amount of
₱1,216,497.20, from the original projects to the newly identified priority
programs and projects of the barangay, subject to existing accounting,
budgeting, and auditing rules and regulations;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
approval.
