A. - O’clock has twelve numbers.


(Jam mempunyai 12 angka)
- It has an hour hand and a minute hand.
(Jam mempunyai jarum pendek dan jarum panjang)

B. Istilah dalam jam:


- O’clock = Jam - Past = Lebih
- A half = 30 menit - To = Kurang
- A quarter = 15 menit

C. Examples (Contoh)
1. O’clock
It is four o’clock. It is ten o’clock.
(Jam empat) (Jam sepuluh)

2. A half past (lebih 30 menit)


It is a half past six. It is a half past one.
(Jam enam lebih tiga puluh menit) (Jam satu lebih tiga puluh menit)

3. A quarter past (lebih 15 menit)


It is a quarter past eleven. It is a quarter past five.
(Jam sebelas lebih lima belas menit) (Jam lima lebih lima belas menit)

4. A quarter to (kurang 15 menit)


It is a quarter to eight. It is a quarter past five.
(Jam delapan kurang 15 menit) (Jam lima lebih lima belas menit)
