FACULTY OF COMPUTING AND ENGINEERING SCIENCES

BS Computer Science
SZABIST offers a four-year (eight semesters) BS Computer Science degree program accredited by
the National Computing Education & Accreditation Council (NCEAC). The program encompases
a broad range of courses in core Computer Science, Information Technology, and Software Engn-
eering. The program is a full-time day program consisting of 47 courses (five/six courses per
semester), totaling 132 credit hours. The complete course plan includes 7 technical electives. These
7 technical electives provide intensive learning in wide areas of Computer Science and allied disci-
plines. A six weeks internship is a mandatory degree requirement. The maximum time limit to
complete the degree program is six years.
