Questions
1. Draw the isometric projection of a hexagonal prism kept on the HP such that the axis of the prism
is perpendicular to the HP and one of the hexagon’s sides is parallel to the XY line. The side of the
hexagon is 30 mm, and the height is 75 mm. (10)
2. Draw the isometric views for the given orthographic view. You need not draw the given orthographic
views for this question. (10)
3. Draw an isometric view of a combined solid comprised of a pentagonal frustum (Lower side 30 mm;
Upper side 15 mm; Height 45 mm) having a cylinder (Length 50mm; Diameter 20 mm) on top of it.
The frustum is kept on its larger base, and one side of the pentagon makes an angle of 30º to the XY
line. The cylinder’s longitudinal axis is parallel to the HP and makes an angle of 45º to the XY line.
The vertical axis of the frustum bisects the cylinder’s longitudinal axis. (20)

4. Draw the plan, elevation, both side views and the isometric view of the 3D object given in the figure
below. The direction of elevation in marked by X. (20)
