Inspecting pole verticality ensures that the pole is correctly positioned and aligned, which is crucial for stability and functionality. Torque tightening checks that bolts are fastened to the manufacturer's specified values to secure the pole, preventing structural failures caused by improper installation .

The method statement ensures safety by requiring a risk assessment and method statement approval, a certified operator for lifts, mandatory use of PPE, and suspension of lifting works during adverse weather. Additionally, a traffic management plan is implemented for road or airside works, alongside adherence to environmental protection and waste disposal regulations .

The site preparation involves confirming pole locations as per approved drawings, obtaining clearance for underground utilities, marking foundation center and limits, barricading the work area, and installing warning signage to ensure safety and compliance .

The project manager holds the overall coordination and authority liaison, ensuring communication across all levels and compliance with standards. The construction manager supervises site activities, focusing on execution efficiency and site safety. Both roles are essential for seamless project execution and successful implementation, balancing strategic oversight with operational control .

The luminaire and electrical installation phase involves installing luminaires, brackets, and the raising/lowering system, pulling and terminating power and control cables, providing earthing and bonding as per authority standards, and installing a feeder pillar and control panel if applicable .

Quality control measures include inspecting the excavation and foundation prior to concreting, checking anchor bolt alignment, and requiring concrete test reports for slump and compressive strength to ensure that the concrete meets the necessary standards before proceeding with further installation steps .

Compliance is ensured through adherence to approved IFC and shop drawings, project technical specifications, manufacturer’s requirements, and standards like IEC / BS / AASHTO / IES.
