Abstract
Data science plays an important role in improving computer security in today’s digital world. As
cyber threats continue to increase in number and complexity, traditional security methods are often
not sufficient to detect and prevent attacks effectively. Data science uses techniques such as data
analysis and machine learning to process large amounts of security data and identify patterns,
anomalies, and potential threats. It helps in detecting malware, phishing attacks, intrusions, and
fraudulent activities in a faster and more accurate way. By analyzing user behavior and network
activities, data science enables systems to predict and prevent cyber attacks before they cause
damage. The future of cyber security largely depends on data science to build intelligent, adaptive,
and secure systems for protecting digital information.
