Professor in various Self-Finance Programs under various Departments of
Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, Lucknow

Online applications are invited from Indian Citizens for Contractual Appointment
for the posts of Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the various
Departments under Self Finance Scheme offered by the University. The University
reserves the right to change the number of posts/vacancies of any category and also
to withdraw partial or full advertisement without assigning any reason.

Note: The candidates are requested to read the General Instructions carefully
before filling out the Application Form. Candidates are advised to check the
minimum eligibility criteria before filling out the form. Candidates are also advised

Essential Qualification:

1. Essential Qualification for French, English, English Language, Sanskrit, Hindi, Mathematics,

amendments from time to time as adopted by U.P. Government vide G.O. No

Language University, Lucknow.
2. Essential Qualification for Computer Science & IT, Business Administration, Electronics
Engineering and Electrical Engineering as per AICTE Notification 2019 and further
amendments/clarifications from time to time.
3. Essential Qualification for Department of Law as per UGC Regulation 2018 and amendments
from time to time as adopted by U.P. Government vide G.O. No 1190@lRrj&1&
2019&16¼114½@2010 dated 15-10-2019 and Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University,
Lucknow.
4. Essential Qualification for Department of [Link]. Biotechnology, Department of Mechanical
Engineering and Department of Civil Engineering as per AICTE Notification 2019 and further
amendments/clarifications from time to time.
5. The Reservation for the SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS categories and Horizontal
reservation shall be as per the U.P. Govt. Rules.
6. Candidates who have already applied for the posts under Advertisement No. SFS/03/2024
must reapply as per the present notification.

Application Fee:

Application Fee is Rs. 3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs.
2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) for SC/ST candidates. Application Fee once
submitted is non-refundable in any circumstances.

General Instructions:
1. Selection Procedure shall be as per orders of Hon'ble Chancellor vide Letter No. E-3019/32-
GS/2020 dated 18.05.2021, E-4229/GS dated 02.07.2021 and E-2385/GS dated 28.04.2022.
2. The Terms and Conditions for all posts shall be in accordance with G.O. 226/ lRrj&2&2020
&18¼31½@2018 dated 13.03.2020 and 75@2025@1066@lRrj&4&2025&70&4099@63
@2025 dated 09.10.2025.
3. Mere fulfilling of minimum eligibility will not entitle any candidate to be called for Interview.
4. Only matriculation/SSC Certificates issued by the concerned educational board will be
considered as proof of date of birth.
5. Candidate belonging to OBC/SC/ST/EWS category should submit relevant certificate(s) as per
U.P. Government rules.
6. Fresh applications are to be made against this advertisement.
7. Candidates must ensure before applying that they are eligible according to the criteria stipulated
in the advertisement. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage of recruitment process, he/she
will be disqualified and their candidature will be cancelled.

8. Concealment of facts/information or submitting false information will disqualify the candidature
at any stage of recruitment.
9. The University reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend the recruitment process
without assigning any reason. The decision of the University shall be final and no appeal in this
regard shall be entertained.
10. The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
11. The University reserves the right to change the number and nature of Posts/Vacancies in
case of any discrepancy without assigning any reason.
12. Addendum/Corrigendum/Notices/Activity timeline to this advertisement, if any, shall be
published only on the University website and will not be published in the newspapers. Therefore,
candidates are advised to visit the University website regularly.
13. The candidates must upload the self-attested copies of all relevant documents which they have
claimed in the Application Form. The original certificates would be required at the time of
Interview only, failing which they shall not be considered for Interview.
14. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post should submit a separate Application
Form for each that specific post along with requisite Application Fee.
15. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one category (within the same subject) are
required to pay the additional Application Form fees. Such candidates are NOT required to fill a
separate Application Form for the aforementioned consideration.
16. The candidates employed in Government Sector/Autonomous Bodies should send the application
through proper channel. However, they may choose to produce the No Objection Certificate from
their organization/employer at the time of Interview with an unambiguous certificate that no
vigilance case is pending/being contemplated against him/her.
17. The Consolidated pay for appointment under contractual mode for Self Finance Scheme Courses
shall be as prescribed by the Government/University Norms and will be governed by

18. An annual increment will be permissible after the assessment of satisfactory performance of
faculty members, subject to the availability of funds.
19. OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates must enclose with the Application Form a copy of the latest
Caste Certificate on prescribed Format of the Government of U.P., duly issued by the Competent
Authority.
20. EWS candidates must enclose with the Application Form a copy of the latest relevant certificate
in prescribed format of the Government of U.P., duly issued by the Competent Authority.
21. Candidates are required to submit the hardcopy of the duly filled Application Form along with
supporting documents (each page duly signed) only by Registered/Speed Post to The Registrar,
Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University, Sitapur-Hardoi Bypass Road, Lucknow-
226013 (U.P.) latest by 02.01.2026. The envelope on its top shall mention the advertisement
number, post applied for and name of the department.

22. Applications received without requisite documents, fee or after the prescribed date will not be
entertained in any case.
23. Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected.
24. No claim for regular appointment/regularization shall be entertained at any stage.
25. Experience and Qualifications will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of Application
Form. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying, that they possess Essential
Qualifications as laid down in the Advertisement.
26. Applicants must fulfil the minimum qualifications and/or experience prescribed for the post.
Period spent by the candidates to acquire Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research
experience.
27. Equivalence/relevance or appropriateness of nomenclatures of degrees in Engineering and
Technology for recruitment to the teaching positions shall be decided on the basis of AICTE
Notification No. 175 [Link]. 27/RIFD/Pay//01/2017-18 dated 28.04.2017 and the clarifications
equivalence/ relevance or appropriateness of nomenclatures of degrees in Engineering and
Technology for recruitment wide [Link]. 27/AICTE/P&AP/Nomenclature/03/2020-21 dated
23.10.2020. For the relevancy of CSE and IT the major discipline shall be Computer Science and
Engineering. Further all the UG and PG degrees defined in nomenclatures for CSE and IT
Department.
28. Candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. from foreign Universities should enclose "Equivalence
Certificate", issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, without which their
candidature will not be considered and application will be rejected. However, the person who has
acquired Ph.D. degree from Foreign University through nomination by MHRD's Foreign
scholarship programme will be exempted from the Equivalency Certificate.
29. No T.A./D.A. shall be paid for attending the Interview.
30. No ‘Interim Correspondence’ shall be entertained.
31. The terms and conditions of Service shall be applicable as per Act, Statutes and Norms of Khwaja
Moinuddin Chishti Language University.
32. All disputes will be subjected to jurisdiction of Lucknow Bench of Honorable High Court
Judicature at Allahabad
Note: The data once entered shall not be allowed to change after FINAL SUBMISSION of
online Application Form. Therefore, the candidate should check the entries before FINAL
SUBMISSION.
Written Test and Interview
The written test will be done for the post of Assistant Professor by this University and all action for
all the advertised posts shall be taken by the University Authority according to Order No.3019/32-
GS/2020, dated 18-05-2021, Order No. 4229/GS dated 02.07.2021 & Order No. 2385/GS dated
28.04.2022 issued by the Hon’ble Chancellor’s Office).

As per Hon’ble Chancellor’s order no. E-2385/GS dated 28.04.2022, the following declaration is to be

The Research score for research papers would be augmented as follows:

(a) Two authors: 70% of total value of publication for each author.
(b) More than two authors: 70% of total value of publication for the First/ Principal/Corresponding
author and 30% of total value of publication for each of the joint authors.
Joint Projects: Principal Investigator and Co-investigator would get 50% each.
Note:
 Paper presented if part of edited book or proceeding then it can be claimed only once.
 For joint supervision of research students, the formula shall be 70% of the total score for
Supervisor and Co- supervisor. Supervisor and Co-supervisor, both shall get 7 marks each.
 *For the purpose of calculating research score of the teacher, the combined research score
from the categories of 5(b). Policy Document and 6. Invited lectures/Resource Person/Paper
presentation shall have an upper capping of thirty percent of the total research score of the
teacher concerned.
 The research score shall be from the minimum of three categories out of six categories.

 The API Score will be published on the website of the University.
