1. Open MS Word and type the invitation letter
with placeholders like <<Name>>,

2. Go to Mailings tab → Start Mail Merge →
Step-by-Step Mail Merge Wizard.
3. Select “Letters” as the document type.
4. Use an existing list or Create a new list with
fields: Name, Roll Number, etc.
5. Insert Merge Fields (like Name, Roll Number)
into the letter.
6. Click “Preview Results” to check each letter.
7. Finish & Merge → Print or save individual
letters for each student.
