Objective:
Students will demonstrate their understanding of character development by identifying and
grouping characters as static, dynamic, foil, major and minor characters, using evidence from
the text.
Instructions
Read the description of each character type carefully. Place each of the characters, listed below
from Highway In The Sun in the correct group. For each character, you must justify your choice
using one clear reason from the text. Feel free to revise the slide posted on Classroom that
provides details on each character type.
