NEEDED COURSE CORRECTIONS FOR
INDIA-USA TRADE AGREEMENT
TO PROTECT
INDIAN FARMERS INDIAN FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRY
INDIAN PEOPLE AND NATION
The Government of India (GOI) must clearly publish a complete list of every food and agricultural product included in the "wide range
of food and agricultural products" mentioned in the US-India Interim Agreement.
- In this agreement, India has agreed to eliminate or reduce tariffs on all US industrial goods, plus a wide range of US food and
agricultural products — such as dried distillers’ grains (DDGs), red sorghum for animal feed, tree nuts, fresh and processed fruits,
soybean oil, wine and spirits, and other items.
- There is a serious risk that the US could end up controlling or dominating India's entire food supply.
- Without a detailed public list of exactly what "wide range of food and agricultural products" includes, this leaves the door wide open
to major problems.
- The US could flood the Indian market with cheap, genetically engineered or modified (GE/GM) wheat flour (atta) or semolina (suji).
These could become so affordable that people stop buying raw wheat grown in India or locally made atta/suji.
- The same thing could happen with gram flour (besan, made from ground chickpeas/chana dal).
- It could also affect rice flour in a similar way.
- The same risks apply to chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin/jeera powder, and similar spices.
- All commercial food manufacturers — who use wheat flour or suji in their products — would likely switch to these cheaper US
imports to cut costs.
- This danger extends to all minimally processed foods.
- Even rice could be at risk: The US might dump cheap, ready-to-eat rice packets (possibly GE/GM) that just need hot water for 2-5
minutes to prepare. Many people would start buying these instead of raw rice grown in India.
This generation's youth and most households, especially urban ones, are looking for shortcuts. They prefer eating outside food, street
food, or ready-made items to avoid cooking, making dough, or preparing chapatis. Ready-to-eat chapatis and rotis are becoming more
popular.
US companies could introduce these with catchy slogans and very long shelf life (even years without refrigeration) by adding strong
chemical preservatives. These could cause severe health issues over the long term.
Some turmeric powders in India already contain things like titanium dioxide. Now imagine imported ones — it would be practically
impossible to check every single imported product for harmful additives.
- As a result, the number of people buying Indian raw rice, raw wheat, raw lentils, raw wheat flour, raw besan, etc., would drop sharply.
Similarly, people might start buying US chilli powder, US turmeric powder, US coriander powder, etc.
- All these GE/GM US food and agricultural products could contain neuro-addictive substances, hidden as "fortifications," added
vitamins, anti-diabetic aids, or enrichments in processed foods.
It is a worldwide problem that commercial ready-to-eat packaged foods often do not fully disclose ingredients on labels. They add
several carcinogenic (cancer-causing) substances but avoid full disclosure or just say "may contain traces" to escape legal trouble.
Even local Indian packaged foods do this. Then imagine what US-made foods could include — where it is practically impossible to
check every ingredient added. This could lead India to become the "cancer capital of the world," or the capital for stress, depression,
and anxiety. The number of people needing pharmaceutical products would increase drastically, allowing the US to indirectly
dominate and capture India's healthcare system.

- Just think about how people get hooked on potato chips with added substances like Ajinomoto (MSG) and extra salt — they keep
craving the same type or brand repeatedly.
- It's similar with ice creams, chocolates, or coffee with caffeine: If you consume them daily for just three days to a week, you start
craving them at the same time every day because caffeine is neuro-addictive.
- Imagine lab-created addictive substances added to US processed foods, including basics like wheat flour, besan, suji, ready-to-eat
rice, or even ready-to-eat chapati. People could become addicted to specific US brands.
- These neuro-addictive substances from food would weaken the immune system, seriously damage metabolic health, and affect brain
function — leading to anxiety, depression, and restlessness.
- Once addicted, it could take months or even years for the cravings and effects to fully disappear.
- Since there is no clear mention or definition of lentils or pulses in this "wide range of food and agricultural products," they could be
included and face the same risks.
- The same problems apply to sugar, as it is a processed product. Sugar could be dumped in India under names like "enriched calories,"
etc.
- And it's the same with edible oils.
Now soybean oil is already imported at cheap rates. All commercial foods start using this low-cost soybean oil, which causes numerous
health issues across all age groups.
Soy is estrogenic and causes estrogen dominance in all age groups.
Girls aged above 6-7 years may experience early puberty. Women in their menstrual cycle may face issues like excessive bleeding,
longer bleeding days, PCOD/PCOS, or fibroids — and fertility will decline. Women in menopause will suffer severe health issues. Men
will face erectile dysfunction, infertility, etc.
Stress in married women could lead to more extra-marital affairs, and India could become a childless nation for couples in less than
a decade. Already, fertility centers and hospitals are on the rise.
India should completely ban the cultivation, import, manufacture, and sale of soybean or soybean products (including soybean oil) in
India — and ideally worldwide. Soy is not even suitable for cattle feed.
Also, glyphosate (a herbicide used in soybean farming) causes cancers and many other serious health issues.
Ready-to-eat foods made from US GE/GM (genetically engineered/genetically modified) ingredients could carry hidden risks of
inducing COVID-like symptoms or other illnesses. This might happen through bacteria or fungi that grow or erupt after the standard
shelf life ends — especially when the food is exposed to room temperature or stored improperly.
Many Indians do not strictly follow expiry dates on packaged foods. In general, people often ignore or overlook them.
There have already been cases where large numbers of imported products (like expensive chocolates) have had their expiry dates
illegally changed and resold in India.
A recent example was uncovered in Delhi, where police busted a racket importing expired branded foods (including chocolates, baby
products, sauces, snacks, and beverages from the US, UK, and UAE), tampering with dates, printing fake barcodes, and repackaging
them for sale at premium prices.
In the absence of strong, standard checks and measures to verify the exact shelf life of imported items, this kind of fraud becomes
even easier.
US companies could also offload their near-expired ready-to-eat products by giving them new short expiry dates and dumping them
in India with heavy discounts or offers.
There is every possibility that Indian importers might change dates again if the products don't sell quickly, leading to further circulation
of risky goods.
Many Indian households are not trained or careful about properly storing opened food packets, cans, or jars. They often store opened
items incorrectly — sometimes mixing all foods in the refrigerator at wrong temperatures, during frequent power cuts, or in improper
conditions.
All these factors — poor storage, ignored expiry dates, tampering, and improper handling — can lead to severe health issues,
especially since GE/GM foods may spoil faster in some cases (though some GM modifications aim for longer shelf life, real-world
handling in India could make contamination worse through bacteria, fungi, or toxins).
Fungal or bacterial growth in spoiled foods can produce mycotoxins or other harmful substances, lead to gut issues, infections or
illnesses (like respiratory issues or general sickness, as seen in some food contamination ).
The Government of India (GOI) must clearly list out every single food and agricultural product covered under the "wide range of food
and agricultural products" in the US-India Interim Agreement.
Without a detailed and complete list, there is no transparency or protection.
There is absolutely no guarantee that ready-to-eat foods imported from the USA will not contain beef tallow (beef fat/oil), which is
very commonly used in food processing in the United States.
Many Indian people could unknowingly consume beef tallow through these imported ready-to-eat foods.
Simply trusting what is written on the product labels is foolish and dangerous.
Even in the USA, food labels are often not accurate, can be misleading, and frequently hide or omit important information.
So, India should not allow the US or any other foreign country to enter or dominate its food and agriculture sector.
COURESE CORRECTIONS
India should not allow staple food raw agricultural produce from the USA.
India should not allow any semi-processed foods like packaged wheat flour, rice flour, besan, chilli powders, turmeric powders,
coriander powders, etc.
India should not allow any ready-to-eat foods like pre-cooked foods or heat-and-eat foods.
India should not allow any foods made from genetically modified (GE/GM) processed foods from the USA.
All imports of food and agriculture products must be priced above the Minimum Selling Price of similar products produced in India.
The Government of India must set Minimum and Maximum selling price limits for all raw agricultural produce and semi-processed
agricultural produce, such as packaged flours like wheat flour, besan, rice flour, suji, turmeric powder, chilli powder, etc.
No ready-to-eat foods (packed, heat-and-eat, etc.) should be allowed to be imported.
All imported products should not be sold at a price less than the base price of Indian [Link] solution to better health is:
India should educate people to eat home-cooked food.
The Government of India should ensure that every ward, village, gated community, or apartment complex has a standard slow-RPM
cold-pressed oil extraction machine to make fresh oils, by making it mandatory for all RWA and Apartments to possess slow RPM
wood pressed Oil extraction machines in their own premises.
All commercial food processing establishments (of a certain size) that use edible oils must own a cold-pressed slow-RPM wood pressed
oil extraction machine and use freshly extracted oil every single day.
Similarly, every village, ward, RWA (Residential Welfare Association), gated community, or apartment must have a mini flour-making
machine to produce rice flour, wheat flour/atta, besan, chilli powder, turmeric powder, etc., on their own premises.
Govt must make it mandatory all Religious places like Temples, Gurdwaras, Churches, Masjids who provide PRASAD /COOKED FOOD
either cooked in their premises must possess the Slow RPM Oil Extraction and Grinding/power making machines in their own premises
or use only INDIAN made raw foods. also all religious place may start commercial sale of the oils, powders from their premises.
India has over 110 million palm trees. India should reduce cane sugar cultivation, manufacturing, import, and usage. Instead,
encourage making palm jaggery locally in every village/ward, and let people replace sugar with palm jaggery. Commercial foods can
still use Indian-made cane sugar if needed. This will help people of India from Diabetes, Stress, Gut Issues, Obesity and many health
issues as Cane Sugar is root cause of many health issues, and Palm Jarry full of nutrients will help in better health
