Cisco Packet Tracer Project: AAA, Syslog & NetFlow

Project Objective:

- Use AAA with TACACS+ for centralized login authentication

- Collect logs using Syslog server

- Monitor network traffic using NetFlow

- Connect LAN devices via a switch

Network Topology:

Configuration Steps:

1. Configure IP addressing and verify connectivity

2. Set up AAA on R1 and configure R2 as TACACS+ server

3. Apply VTY login using AAA

4. Enable Syslog logging to the Syslog server

5. Set up NetFlow export from R1 to NetFlow server

6. Configure the switch and connect PCs

Testing Checklist:

- Ping between routers

- Login to R1 using TACACS+ credentials

- View logs on Syslog server

- Use 'show ip cache flow' on R1 to verify NetFlow
