Key Features
The tools and functions that enable users to accomplish core tasks
Home Page & Server Identity
A public homepage showing the server name, logo/banner, server IP, game version,
and one strong paragraph describing the server philosophy. Includes quick links to
Rules, Features, Status, Store, and Discord. Content is editable by the owner via a
simple form in the owner dashboard.
Rules Page
A dedicated page listing all server rules in a clear, structured format. Rules are
presented as firm and non-negotiable, grouped by category (e.g., chat, gameplay,
cheating). The owner or staff with permission can create, edit, reorder, and
archive rules from a simple table-based interface.
Features & Gameplay Overview
A public page explaining what makes the server unique. Content is organized into
short feature cards (e.g., custom modes, economy, events). Owner or staff can CRUD
feature entries: each feature has a title, short description, and optional tag
(e.g., PvP, Economy). This helps differentiate the server from generic ones.
Server Status Page
A status page that displays whether the server is online or offline, the
current/last-known player count, and basic version/IP info. Initially supports
manual status updates (owner/staff can set online/offline and player count through
the dashboard). Later can be extended to automatic querying, but MVP assumes manual
input.
User Authentication & Roles
Login and registration system to allow players, staff, and the owner to sign in.
Each account has an assigned role (player, staff, owner) which controls access to
dashboards and management features. Simple email/username + password login for MVP,
with a basic profile header visible after login. This also links web accounts to
in-game usernames or UUIDs.
Player Profile Pages
Individual player profile pages that show username, avatar/skin (even a simple
placeholder at first), current rank, coins balance, crate keys count, and basic
stats (e.g., join date, last seen). Players can view their own profile; staff and
owner can search and view any player profile from a player list. Profiles are read-
only for regular players, editable by staff/owner via forms.
Store for Ranks, Coins, and Crate Keys
A simple 'Store' page listing purchasable ranks, coin packages, and crate key
bundles as products. Each product shows name, description, price, and what it
gives. MVP supports creating and managing product entries and recording 'orders'
(even if payment is initially mocked or uses an external link). Purchased items
appear in the player's profile (e.g., updated rank, coin balance, crate keys
count).
Admin, Staff, and Owner Dashboards
Role-based dashboards accessed after login. Staff dashboard: view/search players,
edit ranks/coins/keys for a selected player, and view recent orders or changes.
Owner dashboard: all staff features plus management of homepage text (philosophy
paragraph, IP, version), rules list, features list, server status (online/offline,
player count), and store products. Interfaces are simple tables with edit/delete
buttons and basic forms—no complex analytics needed for MVP.
Links Page (Discord, Vote Sites, GitHub)
A compact page listing all important external links: Discord server invite, vote
sites, GitHub repo, and any other social links. The owner can manage link entries
(title, URL, description, icon type) from the owner dashboard. This centralizes
community and technical resources for visitors and players.
