Individual Reflection

1. My Role and Contributions to the Project (150 words)

In this group project, I assumed the role of "Content Coordinator and
Lead Presenter." My primary responsibilities included:
● Leading the research process and gathering data from reliable sources
such as Nestlé’s official website and annual reports.
● Analyzing employee well-being policies and organizing the information in
a logical, sequential manner.
● Writing the core scripts for the presentation and crafting engaging
content.
● Delivering the majority of the workshop and managing discussions with
colleagues.

My key contributions included:

• Developing a clear presentation structure that begins with the problem and ends with
recommendations.
• Designing a unified slide template to ensure professionalism.
• Preparing interactive questions that stimulated colleague participation.
• Summarizing key points at the end of each section for easier follow-up.

2. Challenges and Problem-Solving (125 words)

We faced several challenges while preparing the workshop:
1. Difficulty accessing recent data on Nestlé’s programs: We
resolved this by relying on multiple sources and cross-referencing
information.
2. Disagreements over time allocation for presentation sections: We
held a brainstorming session and created a detailed timeline.
3. Concerns about audience engagement: We prepared backup
questions and planned a short hands-on activity.

From this experience, I learned:

● The importance of flexibility in teamwork.
● The necessity of having backup plans.
● How thorough preparation can reduce stress.
● The value of listening to all team members' opinions.
3. Personal Growth and Future Application (125 words)
This experience helped me develop multiple skills:

• Improved my ability to research and gather information from diverse sources.

• Became more efficient in analyzing and organizing data.
• Gained confidence in public speaking.
• Enhanced my teamwork skills.
In my future career, I will apply these lessons in:
1. Professional work: When developing HR policies or delivering
professional presentations.
2. Academic pursuits: In preparing research papers and group projects.
3. Personal development: By continuously improving my communication
and presentation skills.

Additionally, I’ve gained a deeper awareness of the importance of employee

well-being and will make it a priority in any leadership role I undertake in the
future.

Preparation for the Oral Defense

I have prepared myself to answer questions such as:
● What did you learn about Nestlé’s corporate culture?
● How do you evaluate the effectiveness of their current policies?
● What changes would you propose to improve employee well-being?
● How did you contribute to resolving team conflicts?

I thoroughly reviewed all sections of the workshop, including those I wasn’t

directly involved in, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
