SCIENCE CLUB
Part2:
I like science because it helps me learn more about the
world around me. For example, science helps me
understand our planets.
Part3:
A:
Hi! I’m very glad to talk to you!
I decide to join in Science Club because I was interested
in science since I was a child. I want to join a science club
to meet more people having the same passion and make
new friends. I’m a student so I have my own schedule,
but I can go to the club on weekends.
B:
I still remember some knowledge about science when I
was in school. However, there are some basics. First,
water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. Second, the earth
revolves around the sun. Finally, facts about the Big Bang.
C:
My favourite scientist is Marie Curie. She is the first
woman in the world to receive a Nobel Award. She is also
a woman who is very hardworking and passionate about
her research work. I admire her very much.
Part 4:
Hi, Jolia,
How’s it going? I hope everything goes well with you.
I just received an email from our Science Club. The
manager of the club said that they’re going to organise a
science exhibition next month and want us to give some
contributions for the event. I think it is a wonderful idea.
In my opinion, we should organise some fun mini games
like quizzes that are suitable for both young and older
people to join. Besides, we should offer free the ticket for
participants so they can come more easily. What do you
think? Please reply soon.
Love,
Vy
Dear manager,
First, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Nguyen
Ngoc Thuy Vy and I have been a member of our Science
Club for 5 years. I am writing this email to express my
opinion about the recent email I have received from the
club.
According to the email, you said that we are going to
organise a science exhibition and wonder whether we
should charge money for the tickets. To be honest, I was
on top of the world when I heard this news. I think the
event will give our members a chance to share their
knowledge with others, make new friends and learn new
things.
From my perspective, we should organise the event in a
clear way and invite other science clubs to join us. We
can also show some experiments and games for people
to have fun like quizzes. I think it would be suitable for all
ages.
Besides, I suggest that we shoud offer free the tickets for
participants because it can encourage them join us more
easily. By doing this, we can attract more people take part
in our event and make it more popular.
I hope these contributions are useful for the club. If you
have any other questions, please tell me.
Sincerely,
Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Vy
