1. Use appropriate reading strategies to comprehend a text.
2. Use various patterns of paragraph development to express ideas logically.
3. Use note-taking, outlining, summarizing, and paraphrasing techniques effectively.
General Instructions and Guidelines in Answering the LAS
Before You Begin
1. Read the title, objectives, and lesson coverage carefully so you’ll know what you are expected to learn.
2. Prepare your notebook or a separate answer sheet if you are not writing directly on the LAS.
3. Make sure you have a quiet place and enough time to complete each task.
While Answering
1. Follow the sequence of activities. Each day builds on the previous lesson.
2. Read all instructions carefully before answering.
3. Use your own words and original ideas. Copying answers from classmates or online sources will not help your
learning. No AI apps as much as possible. (I’ll still be able to tell.)
4. Write neatly and legibly. (Handwritten answers are preferred.)
5. Answer honestly and independently — this LAS is for your learning practice, not just for a score.
6. Observe grammar, spelling, and organization especially in writing activities.
7. If you find an item difficult, skip it first and go back later. Don’t get stuck.
Additional Reminders
1. Take short breaks if needed — avoid rushing your answers.
2. You may use reference materials (dictionary, notes, or modules) only for guidance, not to copy answers.
3. Review your work before submitting.
4. Reflect on what you’ve learned after each activity.
5. Always aim for quality, not just completion.
