The pie charts below show the devices people in the 18 to 25 age group use to watch television in a
European country in two different years.
The given pie charts depict the
proportions of people belonging to the
18-25 age bracket watch TV using
different devices in a European
country between 2007 and 2017.
Overall, at the first place, the
percentage of conventional TV was the
highest, while tablet was the least
popular device.
At the beginning, conventional TV
accounted for 34% which made it the highest rate. However, in 2017, this proporition decreased
dramatically to 4%. By contrast, flat-screen TV stood at 8% in the first year before rosing to just over a
quarter. There were 18% of people who aged 18 to 25 watch TV by desktop and this rate fell slightly to
12%.
In 2007, mobile phone and laptop accounted for 5% and 20%, respectively. Then phone’s rate went up to
19% while laptop dropped down to 12%. Nevertheless, merely 5% people in the 18 to 25 age cohort use
tablet to watch TV at first. Although, this appliance had an increase to 19% in 2017.
