The Project pertains to distribution milch cows of first or second lactation to the Gurung
communities of Gyalshing District. The community is known for diary farming and cattle
rearing.
The main objective of the project is to enhance the economy and livelihood capacity of the selected 330
beneficiaries from Gurung Community of the District. it is expected that the beneficiary income will be
increased by ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 25,000 per annum.
