Pega’s University Academic Program
Pega has developed university level-curriculum for students seeking degrees in Business Information
Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science and
other related degree programs.
The primary classes focus on DPA/BPM (Digital Process Automation/Business Process Management),
Pega’s core technology. Additional classes focus on AI (Artificial Technology) and RDA (Robotic
Desktop Automation). After finishing the program, students can achieve Pega certification and look for
sought-after internships and employment with Pega clients and partners around the world.

Scenario Overview
TSP Pvt Ltd is a new-age digital platform for young and experienced professionals providing timely
expertise building interventions that help shape their careers. They want an application that can reduce
the time taken in doing manual process. They offer different training programs for college graduates,
working professionals and specially working women. TSP Pvt Ltd wants to use Pega platform to
automate this process.
Note: For your deliverable you are not required to create an application profile or define use-cases in the
product. While these steps are critical for real-world projects simulating them in an environment where
no business architect or business representative would not be valuable to the overall assessment and as
such is not required.
Actors
● Counselor – Collects personal details from the candidates and process the admission for different
courses
● Admin Academics – Approves Admissions , schedules and batch maintenance.
● Faculty – Manages the classroom sessions like marking attendance
● Proctor – Coordinates the assessments in the organization.
● Student - Can login with guest login and can apply for a course and pay the fee and see reports
Process overview
Through this new application, TSP allows users to enroll into different courses by paying fee.
The Course Delivery application will include the following processes:
● Course Registration
● Batch Scheduling
● Attendance management
● Conducting Training
● Assessments
Detailed Process Requirements
Course Registration
Students can select a course from the available list. Provide his details like personal, contact and
educational details. Student can select any Database course in addition to the course selected. For
Testing courses selecting "C#" or "JavaScript" or "Core Java" is mandatory. It will route to the

Academy counselor. Counselor needs to approve the request within 2 days and max 4 days. Else Admin
gets an escalation email about the pending application. The Counselor then needs to verify the details and
approve the admission provisionally. The student then has to pay the fee and can enroll into the course.
Notifications are sent after the application submission and after approval of the same. The notification
that is sent to the students should be in the following format first letter of their first name . (dot) last name
and along with other details needs to be sent as a pdf. The controls in UIs should be properly aligned
(inline grid double, inline grid triple). Also the Ui should change the layout according to the device.

Batch Scheduling
Once the student completes the enrollment "Admin of Academics" receives a notification to form a
batch. Admin then creates a batch code with the start date and end date (which needs to be automatically
calculated) and allocates a faculty to the batch. Admin needs to add students to a batch within 7 days
after creation of the batch.
Attendance Management
University Academic Program
Faculty can login with the credentials provided to mark the attendance to the respective batch . Faculty
will not be able to change the attendance once marked.
Conducting Training
Faculty can pull out the details of a student using his/her name and can see the all the details of the
student like personal details, academic performance. Faculty can upload the scores of the students. The
Proctor schedules tests on specific dates for the batches.
Assessment
Student will be tested on the selected course after completion of course. Student can opt for certification
in respective technology. He/She can pay the fee for the certification and select the Date and Time slot
for the certification exam. Venue will the default for all courses, i.e TSP Pvt Ltd.
Additional Requirements
● Applicants should be able to fill the details in any order . Like Personal details, Educational
details and experience details (if any)
● UI to be properly formatted with skin rule
● Naming conventions to be followed
● Workbaskets and workgroups to be created whenever required
● Students can enroll into only one course at a time
● Validations are to be applied on respective properties
Security Features Requirements
● Exams should be scheduled by Proctor only
● Academic admin can add, update and remove any courses
● Faculties specialized in respective subjects only can see their respective reports
● All reports are for view only except for Academic Admins
Reporting Requirements
Faculty reports: Faculty can see the following reports

⮚ Batches currently handling
⮚ Student performance

⮚ Revenue report showing number of registrations happened in previous quarter

Students should get a consolidated report about their batch schedule, attendance and performance
