(Q) Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background?
(A) Hello, my name is (Korean name). My English name is Selena. I am 17 years old. I live in Korea. I
like to play guitar.

(Q) What are your favorite subjects, and why do you enjoy them?
(A) My favorite subject is Science. I enjoy Science because it is interesting.

(Q) What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses?


(A) My strength is friendly, and my weakness is a quite personality.

(Q) What hobbies or activities do you enjoy, and why are they important to you?
(A) My hobby is playing with my dog. It is important to me because it makes me happy and
comfortable.

(Q) Why are you applying for this school? ( Specify your biggest reason for entering this school and
what you can contribute to the school.
(A) I saw your homepage. I saw your teachers and school. I want to enroll in your school because it is
very nice. Also, I want to learn Science more and new things.

(Q) What do you hope to achieve during your time at this school?
(A) I hope to make new friends and learn various things, such as learning about culture and language
in another country.

(Q) Why did you choose to study in Vietnam rather than in South Korea?
(A) South Korea is amazing in education, but I chose to study in Vietnam because its learning suits me
well. It's very helpful.

(Q) Explain which activities you participated in or performed best during the internal/external
activities (Co-Curricular Activities).
(A) In my old school, I participated in a band. I like to play guitar because it makes me proud to
perform. That's the time I feel myself best.

(Q) It is good to present specific plans for how your specific interests or passions can lead to your

(A) My interest or passion helps me to build my confidence. In my school life, confidence is very
important because it motivates you to learn many things.

(Q) How would you approach making new friends in a new school environment?
(A) First, I will say hello to the other. Second, I will respect their culture. Finally, I will be good at them.
In these ways, I can make new friends in my new school environment.

(Q) What strategies do you use to stay motivated and succeed in your studies?
(A) I make a plan and carefully follow it. I always try my best to do the things that are good for my
studies. Also, I am a responsible student.

(Q) Can you share an example of a challenging situation you faced and how did you handle it?
(A) During my middle school years, History was the most challenging subject for me. To manage it, I
read, remember, and write the topic so that I can understand.

(Q) How do you manage conflicts with peers or teammates?


(A) When I have a conflict with peers, I talk to them and solve the problem.
(Q) Have you ever worked on a team project? What role did you play, and what did you learn?
(A) Yes, and I was the leader. I learned that it is important to communicate and lead well.

(Q) What are your future goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?
(A) My future goal is to become a pharmacist. I will take a course and study hard to achieve it.

(Q) Where do you see yourself in 10 years?


(A) In ten years, I can see myself working as a Pharmacist, meeting new friends, and still playing with
my dog.

(A) I think my education here will help me achieve my dreams by improving my critical thinking skills.
