Motion:

 Average Speed: speed = distance / time (v = d/t)

 Average Velocity: velocity = displacement / time (v = s/t)
 Acceleration: acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity) / time (a = (v-u)/t)
 Distance (constant acceleration): distance = (initial velocity * time) + (0.5 *
acceleration * time squared) (s = ut + 1/2at²)
 Final Speed (squared): (final speed squared) = (initial speed squared) + (2 *
acceleration * distance) (v² = u² + 2as)

2. Forces and Motion:

 Force: force = mass * acceleration (F = ma)
 Weight: weight = mass * gravitational field strength (W = mg)
 Moment: moment = force * perpendicular distance from the pivot (M = Fd)
 Hooke's Law: force = spring constant * extension (F = kx)
 Momentum: momentum = mass * velocity (p = mv)
 Impulse: impulse = change in momentum (Δp = FΔt)

3. Work, Energy, and Power:

 Work done: work done = force * distance (W = Fd)
 Kinetic Energy: kinetic energy = 0.5 * mass * (velocity squared) (Ek = 1/2 mv²)
 Gravitational Potential Energy: gravitational potential energy = mass *
gravitational field strength * height (Ep = mgh)
 Power: power = work done / time (P = W/t)
 Efficiency: efficiency = (useful energy output / total energy input) * 100% (or useful
power output / total power input)

4. Pressure:
 Pressure: pressure = force / area (P = F/A)
 Pressure in a fluid: pressure = height * density * gravitational field strength (P =
hρg)

5. Thermal Physics:
 Density: density = mass / volume (ρ = m/V)
 Specific Heat Capacity: heat energy = mass * specific heat capacity * change in
temperature (Q = mcΔT)
 Latent Heat: heat energy = mass * specific latent heat (Q = mL)

6. Waves:
 Wave Speed: wave speed = frequency
 wavelength (v = fλ).
