Introduction:
Project Title: Hospital Doctor Appointment Booking and PDF Report System

Tools Used: Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, [Link] Web Forms, Microsoft
Access 2000

Database: Appointment records stored in MS Access, Doctor details stored


in Visual Studio code

Technology: [Link] with C#, RDLC Report Viewer for PDF generation

Objective:
The main goal of this project is to provide patients with a simple and
professional online platform to book appointments with hospital doctors
across multiple specialties and to generate a downloadable PDF of
appointment details for reference.

System Features:
1. Front Page:

●​ Modern, healthcare-themed design with gradient headers, navigation


bar, and responsive layout.
●​ Clear navigation for Login, Register, Appointment Booking, and My
Appointments.

2. User Authentication:

●​ Secure Login & Registration system.


●​ Email and Password validation with Session management.

3. Doctor Categories:

●​ Eight categories of doctors (General, Cardiac, Nephro, Dermato, Ortho,


Physio, Brain, Uterus).
●​ Separate male and female doctors available.

4. Appointment Booking:

●​ Patients select Category → Doctor → Date & Time.


●​ Data validation (name, email, phone, date, time, gender).
●​ Appointment stored in Access database.

5. My Appointments Page:

●​ Patients can view all their booked appointments in a GridView table.


●​ Professional layout with patient name, gender, category, doctor, date,
and time.

6. PDF Generation:

●​ RDLC ReportViewer integration.


●​ Patients can export their appointments as a PDF without using
third-party libraries like iTextSharp.

Conclusion
This Project is a complete working [Link] Web Forms project with
professional UI, appointment booking features, patient-specific reports, and
PDF export capability. It demonstrates skills in [Link], C#, MS Access
database handling, session management, and RDLC reporting.
