Hosting Script

[Host(Qaseem Younus) enters the stage]

Host:
"Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the Annual Math’S Meet, hosted by The Intellect School! We
are thrilled to have you all here today, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our esteemed
participants from six incredible schools:

• The Intellect School

• Karachi Grammar School

• Education Bay

• Hira Foundation

• Reflections

• Happy Home School

Today, we celebrate not just the love of mathematics, but also the spirit of teamwork, challenge, and
healthy competition. Each school has prepared its best minds to tackle some exciting And mind
lowinge problems, and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the table!

Before we dive into the competition, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the hard work and
dedication of all the students, teachers, and families who have supported them. Mathematics
teaches us not only how to solve problems but also how to think critically and work together.

Now, let’s meet our wonderful participants! [Gestures to the schools] Could we have a round of
applause for all the students representing their schools today?"

[Pause for applause]

"Alright! Let’s kick off this exciting day with the first round of challenges. Are you all ready? Let’s
make some math magic happen!"

[Second(Usman Sheikh) Host Enters The Stage]

Host:

"Welcome everyone to the First Round of our Maths Meet Competition! We’re starting off with a
round that will test your individual skills and quick thinking. Let’s go over the rules for this round."

Rules of the First Round:

1. Each participant will receive an answer sheet to record their responses.

[Link] discussion is allowed—this is an individual round, so all participants must work on their own.

2. One by one, each question will be projected on the screen for all participants to see.

3. You will have 1 minute to answer each question.

4. There are a total of 10 questions, which means this round will take 10 minutes.

5. 5 marks will be awarded to each correct answer and there will be no negative marking in this
round

Host:

"Make sure you fill out your answers carefully, as every point counts! Stay focused, think quickly, and
don’t forget to manage your time wisely. Let’s get started—good luck to all of you!"

END OF FIRST ROUND

SECOND ROUND

Host:

"Welcome back, everyone! It’s time for the Second Round, which is the exciting Rapid Fire Round.
This round will test not only your knowledge but also how quickly your team can think under
pressure. Let’s go over the rules."

Rules of the Rapid Fire Round:

1. Each team will be shown 10 questions on the screen, one after the other.

2. You must answer all 10 questions within 3 minutes.

3. Discussion is allowed among team members, so collaborate wisely!

4. If you don’t understand a question, you can say ‘Pass’ to move on to the next one.

5. Your time will continue to run, so manage it carefully.

6. +5 marks will be awarded to each correct answer and -2 will be deducted for incorrect [Link]

"Remember, speed is the key in this round! Work together, think fast, and try to answer as many
questions as possible. Now, let’s begin with the rapid fire round.

END OF SECOND ROUND

THIRD ROUND

Host:

"Welcome to the third round of today’s competition – the Visual Round! This round is all about
teamwork and focus. Before we dive in, let me walk you through the rules of this round."

Rules of the Visual Round:

1. This is a team round so you are allowed to discuss

2. After showing the visual to team A, a related question will be asked.

3. The second question will be asked from team B in the same manner and so on.

4. Questions will be read twice before the timer starts

5. The team will have one minute to answer

6. The team members can discuss amongst themselves.

7. Only the spokesperson must answer

8. +10 points for the correct answer and don’t worry this round doesn’t have any negative points

Host:

"Alright, teams! This is your chance to work together, think fast, and score some points. Keep your
focus sharp, and make sure your spokesperson is ready with the final answer. Let's begin the
Memory Round! Good luck to everyone!"

END OF THIRD ROUND

FOURTH ROUND
Hosting Script
Host:Welcome to the last round of this competion, the Visual [Link] me just go through the rules
of this round and then we,ll start.

Rules:

1. A picture will be shown to each team for 30 sec only.

2. All team members have to memorize the things or information shown in that picture within
those 30 secs.

3. A question related to the picture will be asked from each team member individually.

4. Team discussion is strictly not allowed.

5. Use of paper and pencil is also not allowed.

6. If any member is found prompting,the team will get zero points for that round.

7. You will get +5 points for each correct answer and -2 for each wrong answer.

8. Two pictures will be shown to each team.

9. A maximum of 40 pounts can be scored
