Question:

Design a basic inter-building campus Local Area Network for GCTU.

Use GNS3 Emulator

Requirements:

Building A: Administration Block: Contains Departments made up of Management, HR, and


Finance. Each department must have one PC. Each department should have a separate IP
address. The building must share one network switch (Hint: use of VLANs is expected here)

Building B: Faculty of Computing and Information Systems: Contains a Student computer


lab represented by three PCs

Note:

The devices in building A will be expected to acquire dynamic IP addresses from a router-based
DHCP server.
The switch in building A should be configured with appropriate VLANs

DEADLINE: 27TH OCTOBER, 2024
