BLIND DISABILITY
A blind person is someone who has little or no vision.
As per the Rights of Person with Disability Act (RPWD) 2016 blindness include : Total absence of sight.
Visual acuity less than 3/60.
Its causes can be congenital(since birth),acquired(after birth).
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Blind disability is integral to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) , driven by the “leave no one
behind”.
It is included in targets for :
