2.1 Vehicle Compatibility

This product is compatible with approximately 99% of vehicles that come with factory-installed wired Apple CarPlay or wired
Android Auto. It is important to verify your car's compatibility before purchase. Please note that BMW, Tesla, and some other
specific models may not be compatible.

2.2 Smartphone Compatibility

For Wireless CarPlay: Requires iPhone 6 or above models running iOS 10 or higher.

Important Note for Android Users:

Huawei devices with EMUI operating system are generally not supported for wireless Android Auto.

3. Setup Instructions
The Mini U3 Smart Box offers a simple plug-and-play installation process without requiring any disassembly of your car's OEM
radio.

3.1 Initial Connection

1. Insert the Adapter: Plug the Mini U3 Smart Box into the car's USB port (either USB-A or USB-C, depending on your car
and the adapter provided). Ensure you use the port designated for wired CarPlay or Android Auto.
2. Start the Car: Turn on your car and wait for the head unit system to fully load.
3. Enable WiFi & Bluetooth on Phone: On your iPhone or Android phone, turn on both WiFi and Bluetooth. Ensure your
phone's WiFi is on but not connected to any network initially.
4. Pair via Bluetooth: Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone and find the device named "SmartBox ****" (the last four
digits may vary). Select it to pair.
5. Confirm Pairing: A Bluetooth Pairing Request will appear. Confirm the code and click "Pair".
6. Grant Permissions: If prompted, allow access to contacts and call history.
7. Initiate CarPlay/Android Auto: Click "Use CarPlay" or allow Android Auto to start.

After the first successful pairing, the device will automatically connect to CarPlay or Android Auto when you get into your car.
